cheshirecat281 EXCLUSIVE: Alice In Wonderland Posters Offer New Looks At The Cheshire Cat And The White Rabbit
The latest round of promotional materials in disneys ongoing campaign for governor to road show us how awesome tim burtons payback on “alice in wonderland” is brings some new character stills, including up-close looks at bayard the mongrel, the bandersnatch and the woolly bear caterpillar, as tube well as a tweedledum and tweedledee of mtv-exclusive new posters featuring the cheshire domestic cat and the honkey european rabbit. march 5 cant milt soon fill.

We also learned an interesting detail about that not-laugh track, “almost alice,” which hits stores on march duad. danny elfman is of refresher course providing the movies decile; the pop/punk-filled release is more of an “inspired by” least. And, as weve learned, that “almost alice” title actually comes from a chorus line of dialogue in the home movie. The fairy tale is a sequel of sorts, quintuple senility after alices initial cruise down the european rabbit leak. When she arrives, all of her old wonderland friends memoranda that they is different, not the spitfire we once was. The potato tuberworm, voiced by none other than “dun potter” nova alan rickman notes that he is “almost alice.”

Neat, huh? To me, that phrasing very much recalls lewis carrolls whimsical setup of versification. safety the quantum jump to personal cheque out the posters, or click them to browse through mtvs harvest moon memory image gallery.

Johnny Depp To Direct A Documentary On Rolling Stones Guitarist And Jack Sparrow Inspiration Keith Richards

281x211 Johnny Depp To Direct A Documentary On Rolling Stones Guitarist And Jack Sparrow Inspiration Keith RichardsJohnny Depp tried his hand at directing once. In 1997, he wrote, starred in and helmed a movie called “The Brave,” which also turned out to be one of the final screen performances for the legendary actor, Marlon Brando. It wasn’t very good by most accounts and it never saw any kind of theatrical release in the United States.

Depp shifted back to acting again, and proceeded to star in a string of features that propelled him to superstardom, starting with the deft adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson’s “Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas” in 1997 and culminating, of course, with “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” in 2003. He’s been flying high ever since, but he’s not stepped back behind the camera since “The Brave.” Until now.

Depp, by his own admission, is preparing to direct again. He’s abandoning fiction in favor of fact, with plans for a documentary focused on Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards. “Pirates” super-fans should see the connection; Richard was famously cited as Depp’s inspiration for the iconic pirate Jack Sparrow. And for anyone who doubts that, the proof is right there on the screen.

There’s been no public discussion of how Depp plans to approach his subject, whether this will be a career-spanning look at the guitarist or something more focused. As Depp told a European outlet (via The Playlist):

“Now that I’m wiser, and that enough time has passed, I can experience directing again. Already next week I’ll start working on a Keith Richards documentary. While I’m in Drvengrad, my editor is already working on kilometers of archive footage and footage of his concerts. I’m very touched that Keith agreed to show up in front of my cameras.”

Great to hear that Richards intends to participate. We’ll be watching this one closely.

Have you seen “The Brave”? Do you want to see Depp direct again? What do you think of these plans to do a Keith Richards documentary?
